Mission:

To provide information, education, encouragement and understanding to survivors and caregivers during the ongoing recovery period.


General Information

The Tri-State Brain Aneurysm Support Group has meetings the first Wednesday of every month, except for January and July. The meetings begin at 6:30PM and generally finish around 8:00PM. Social events are held in January and July to build upon friendships and to enjoy camaraderie in a less formal setting.

Come out for some fun, food and relaxtion. We will provide hot dogs, metts, hamburgers and buns. You bring your soft drinks and one side dish to share (for 6-8 people).

Call our support group phone at 513-475-8636 (recording only - leave information) or e-mail Sandy Ross at sross21@fuse.net Please give your name , the number of adults, the number of children (and their ages), the meat preference for everyone so that we can make sure we have enough and the right combination of hot dogs, metts, burgers and buns.

This is a new location. Tower Park in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. We have reserved Shelter #2 for all day, so come anytime. Picnic time is 5:00PM-dark. There are restrooms convenient to the shelter, play ground for the youngsters, open fields for frisbee, etc. Pack your soft drinks, dishes and utensils, bring games if you'd like and come out for some fun!

Directions:

From Cincinnati (North):

Take I-75 or I-71 South to I-471(Big Mac Bridge), Follow I-471 South into Kentucky and exit at Grand Avenue (Exit #3), Turn left off the exit stay in far right lane, Go past St. Loke Hospital East, At top of hill, continue straight on Grand Avenue for 1.2 miles, Turn left onto Douglas, you will see a sign for Tower Park, Turn right on Cochran, go 1/2 block up a slight grade, turn left at the fire hydrant into the lot for shelter #2.

From Kentucky (South):

Take I-75 North to I-471 North, Follow I-471 North and exit at Grand Avenue (Exit #3), Turn right off the exit, Go past St. Loke Hospital East, At top of hill, continue straight on Grand Avenue for 1.2 miles, Turn left onto Douglas, you will see a sign for Tower Park, Turn right on Cochran, go 1/2 block up a slight grade, turn left at the fire hydrant into the lot for shelter #2.

Open sharing is always one of our most popular meeting topics. Survivors and Caregivers will seperate into groups and discuss topics unique to each group. Come to share and to learn!
